Virginia Tech After the Shooting

We visited the campus the weekend after the April 16 shootings.  It was good to see the campus getting back to normal life.  Souvlaki's was so packed that we had to eat lunch on the lawn across the street (Just like the old days.).  The Drill Field was filled with mourners and memorials.  It was nice to see such a strong outreach from communities both near and far.  Amongst the memorials people were out on the Drill Field doing normal Drill Field stuff (sunbathing, playing Frisbee ...).  It was almost like Hokies were retaking the territory.
